ARTIST BIO

Holly Sims was raised in Greencastle, IN and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Fine Art from Anderson University and MFA in Painting and Drawing from the New York Studio School. Holly was recipient of the NYSS Gertrude Whitney Conner Scholarship for Excellence and is part of the William Louis- Dreyfus Family Art Collection. Holly is currently a Professor of Communication and Design Arts at Anderson University, where she teaches a variety of courses in fine art, design and art history.


Holly primarily spends the warmer months of the year working on public art projects and was a selected artist for the Putnam County Mural Project (2022), Mill Creek Mural Project (2023) as well as Rensselaer Mural Fest (2023).
